Assistance League Thrift Shop

The Assistance League Thrift Shop in Santa Rosa, California, plays a key role in supporting the local community through its efforts. This support is made possible by the shop's sales of quality resale merchandise, which are generated from donations of new or gently used items accepted on Mondays and Wednesdays during store hours.

Donations are essential to the thrift shop's success, and these donations directly fund several philanthropic programs. These programs support children and teens in need, women and children in crisis, and women in recovery, making a tangible impact on the community.

On Mondays, the thrift shop has a senior discount day, and a frequent shoppers card is also available. A weekly email is sent to those who sign up, keeping them informed about sales and specials.

The organization behind the thrift shop relies on volunteers to fulfill its mission. These volunteers work together to make a difference in the community, and membership is open to those who wish to be of service and have the time and passion to volunteer.

Volunteers have the opportunity to choose from various activities, including working in the thrift shop and participating in fundraising events, allowing them to contribute in a way that suits their interests and skills.
