Fogbelt Brewing Company serves Sonoma County from its Santa Rosa, California, base, drawing inspiration from the coastal area where coast redwood trees thrive, known as the 'fog belt'. The company was founded and named after this distinctive region.
Paul Hawley and Remy Martin, who grew up in Sonoma County and come from winemaking families, started brewing together in 2004 and eventually opened the taproom in 2014. Their Santa Rosa location continues to cellar barrel-aged and experimental beers.
The kitchen focuses on seasonal local ingredients to craft elevated pub favorites. With a custom-built brewhouse and a barrel aging and sour beer program, the company has grown since its inception.
Fresh craft beers like Fog Water, Redwood Lager, and Dogbelt are available in the taproom, which also hosts events such as Happy Hour and Trivia Night, and features a dog-friendly patio.
